Visitor Management System (VMS)
Visitor Management Systems (VMS) is designed to promote the security of a community. This system may be used for gated communities and communities who place restrictions on visitors, vehicles, or parking. BGIL’s VMS streamlines the flow of authorized visitors while keeping unauthorized intruders from gaining entry to a facility.

Features Of Visitors Management System:-
- A Camera takes the photo of the visitor at the entrance (Photographic records of Visitors)
- The reception or security personnel enters the details of the visitor or Pre-scheduled appointment is displayed.
- Information / message is sent via intranet and / or SMS to the officers / employee’s PC and /
or cell phone, by sending visitor details & photo, and wait for his approval. - The software prints the Pass / I Card for visitor.
Web Camera is used to click the picture of the visitor while registering the visitor. The photo clicked by the camera is then stored in the database with the visitor id for future references. Web camera could be face tracking or non-face tracking but generally face tracking camera is recommended in visitor management system.

Signature Pad is another device used for security purposes while registering the visitor. Signature Pad is used to register the visitor signatures and then the signatures are stored in the database in reference to the visitor ID. These signatures could be verified while exiting the visitor.

Visitor Card scanner is used to scan the visitor business card. After scanning the business card it breaks the image into different fields and puts the value into corresponding fields like visitor name, company name, designation, mobile no., address etc.

BGIL’s Visitor Management System is also integrated with Biometric Thumb scanner. A visitor could be registered with his thumb impression and then he could be given access to different doors using his thumb impression only. Thumb impression could also be used for exiting the visitor.
